BSO ROeR

Welcome to BSO+ Het ROeR, our small-scale after-school care located on the ground floor of the impressive new Rotterdam Education and Rehabilitation Centre at Hazelaarweg 100, Rotterdam. We are part of KindeRdam and provide care specifically for children from the SO-basic department of Mytylschool De Brug with a physical disability, sometimes combined with an intellectual disability. Our BSO+ group is intentionally small: a maximum of 12 children per day, supervised by two pedagogical professionals, at least one of whom holds an HBO degree. This setup creates a low-stimulus environment where clarity, structure and routine are central. Every child receives the personal attention they need to feel safe and secure. We work closely with the school, using the same methodologies and core values, so that your child’s guidance seamlessly connects both during school and care hours. Collaboration with Rijndam Rehabilitation is also within reach, allowing us to quickly access medical expertise when needed. We are open on weekdays from 14:30 to 18:30. During school holidays and study days we are open from 07:30 to 18:30 and 08:30 to 18:30 respectively. For continuity we ask that children attend at least two fixed days per week. Holiday care is only possible in combination with after-school care. Because we provide extra support in a small-scale setting, costs are higher than at a regular BSO. If you live in Rotterdam, the municipality contributes to the extra costs. If you live outside Rotterdam, you will receive two invoices: one for regular BSO costs and one for the additional BSO+ costs.
