BSO Prinses Amalia De Korf

BSO Prinses Amalia De Korf is located in the same stately building as public primary school De Korf at Korfmakersstraat 80 in Rotterdam-Delfshaven. We provide before- and after-school care for up to 33 children aged 4 to 12 who attend De Korf and Lucasschool. Our pedagogical staff pick the children up after school and serve them a warm meal around 5 p.m. Every month they draw up an activity schedule built around a theme, featuring sports, creative activities, cultural outings and excursions. Examples include swimming lessons at Zwembad West, visits to museums and theatres, and art and dance workshops. During school holidays, study days and free days we remain open and offer holiday care. The partnership between De Korf and BSO Prinses Amalia has existed for many years and is highly valued by parents and children. Children experience a seamless transition from school to care within one familiar environment. Our vision is that every child should feel safe and seen, so they can play, explore and develop at their own pace. We work with horizontal grouping, bringing children together in age groups and allowing them to meet each other in a homely, small-scale setting.
