BSO Polderpret Noorden

BSO Polderpret Noorden is located within primary school Antonius at Anemonenstraat 1 in Noorden. We provide after-school care for children in grades 1 through 8 of primary education. Our aim is to welcome every child into a cosy, homely environment where fun, respect for individuality and room for personal initiative are central. Learning through play and fostering independence are the guiding principles of our approach. Care starts right after school and continues until 18:30. During school holidays we are open from 08:00 to 18:30. We also offer care on teacher training days. Please note that on Wednesdays our Noorden location is closed; children can then attend our BSO in Nieuwkoop. We operate horizontal groups, placing children of the same age together. This allows us to tailor activities and spaces precisely to the developmental stage of the children. For the youngest children the focus is on play and discovery in themed corners; for the older children we concentrate more on increasing their independence and deepening their specific interests. Our team consists of qualified pedagogical staff with broad training. They supervise a maximum of 22 children per group and provide a varied programme of activities that is largely determined by the children themselves. Registration is done through our website; we recommend applying at least one year in advance.
