BSO Ontdekking

BSO Ontdekking is located at the same address as the Integral Child Centre (IKC) Ontdekking at Ooievaarstraat 14 in Kampen. Since 17 August 2020, this after-school care facility has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 252461782 and offers places for up to 30 children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO is part of IRIS Christian Child Centres, an organisation that provides care and education under one roof. This means that teachers, pedagogical staff and other professionals work closely together to optimally support children's development. The location operates from Christian values and encourages children to trust in God, others and themselves. Before-school care is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 8:25 AM. After-school care starts immediately after school and runs until 2:30 PM. During school holidays we offer holiday care with themed activities, such as the recent 'City Adventurer' during the May holiday and a discovery tour of the zoo during the spring break. Children are given the space to organise their free time themselves, but can also take part in various activities. We work in a homely atmosphere where safety, security and fun are central. Parents are actively involved in the upbringing and development of their child. Where necessary, we involve other professionals to ensure optimal care for the child.
