BSO Sint Agatha Onder de Boompjes

Welcome to BSO Onder de Boompjes in Sint-Agatha, a small-scale after-school care facility where children aged 4 to 12 can play, explore and relax in a safe and homely environment after school. Our location is situated at Liesmortel 19 in the 'De Verrekijker' building, right in the heart of Sint-Agatha village, and accommodates a maximum of 22 children per day. Attention, peace, clarity and care are central to our approach. We believe every child is unique and develops at their own pace. That's why we provide a warm and familiar place where children can be themselves and where there's room for their own initiative. Our pedagogical staff are always ready to listen, guide children in making choices and stimulate their social and emotional development. We work with fixed daily routines and clear agreements, so children know what to expect and feel safe. Outdoor play is an important part of the day at our facility. We have our own vegetable garden where children help with sowing, caring for and harvesting plants. This way they learn about nature and the importance of sustainability in a playful manner. There's also plenty of space to romp around, cycle or be creative in our garden. During bad weather, children can retreat to our cozy indoor spaces where they can build, do crafts, play games or simply relax with a book. We work closely with primary schools in the area, including De Groene Wereld primary school, so children can join us safely and directly after school. We're also open on study days and school holidays, offering flexible childcare. Registration is easy through our website. At BSO Onder de Boompjes, children find a second home they enjoy going to.
