Welcome to Norlandia BSO De Spinner, located in Kindcentrum de Nieuwe Hoeven at Spinner 2a in Heeze. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our location works closely with primary schools De Merlebos and De Trumakkers, which are housed in the same building. This ensures short communication lines: if something happens at school, our team is informed immediately and can provide the right support for your child. At our BSO, everything revolves around self-discovery, play and movement. Children can enjoy themselves on De Merlebos’ schoolyard with a game of football, climb and clamber in De Trumakkers’ climbing frame, or simply have fun outdoors. We believe outdoor play and physical activity are essential for children’s development. Therefore, we encourage sports activities and have a dedicated talent-development staff member who challenges the older children. Besides sports and play, we also offer quiet activities. Children can do arts and crafts, draw in their own sketchbook, or take part in creative projects. We believe it is important that children learn to make their own choices and let their creativity run free. During school holidays, we organise special themed activities and fun excursions, making every day with us a celebration. Sustainability is high on our agenda. Children receive their own sketchbook and learn to be careful with materials. Once the book is full, they may only take a new one. In this way, we contribute together to a better world. Our team consists of familiar faces: many colleagues also work at the day-care centre, ensuring a smooth transition from day-care to after-school care. Each child also has a personal mentor who monitors their well-being and development throughout the year and regularly communicates with parents. In short, at Norlandia BSO De Spinner, children have all the space to be themselves, play, move and grow in a safe, familiar environment.
