bso Matilo

BSO Matilo is located in the scouting building at Besjeslaan 2A in Leiden, right next to the Matilo nature park. We provide after-school care for children aged 8 to 12. Our special spot borders a large field and natural playground that we use every day for building dens, sports and games, creative workshops and adventurous outdoor activities. No two afternoons are the same: one day we might all be cooking together in our own kitchen, the next we head into the park for a scavenger hunt or exploration. Our qualified pedagogical staff take a coaching role, encouraging children to make their own choices and become increasingly independent. During school holidays we run a varied holiday programme with themed outings, workshops and fun excursions that we plan together with the children.
