BSO Kring Op Stoom

Right in the heart of Haarlem – yes, really in the city center – you'll find BSO de Kring. This location is cozy, laid back and feels like coming home after a long day. Slippers on and just chill. There's plenty of space (literally and figuratively) to unwind. Or not, of course. Our location at Parklaan 110 provides care for 60 school-age children from 4 to 12 years old. We have a theater hall with a stage (you know, with those red velvet curtains), a gym, a large kitchen (for the better baking projects) and an adventurous playground with tunnels, sand, bushes and lots of greenery. The 7-plus kids have their own cool spot at the Kringzolder. Think of a huge games cupboard, bean bags and even workbenches for tinkering. Our little rascals (4-7 years) hang out in the Kringhuisje. This used to be the caretaker's house, but is now a cozy space with its own art studio. We work intensively with primary school De Kring, which is located right next to us at Parklaan 108. This collaboration ensures a smooth transition from school to after-school care. After school, the children come straight to us where they can relax, play and be creative.
