Kompas

BSO Kompas is located in the same building as primary school Het Kompas at Nieuwkuijksestraat 98 in Nieuwkuijk. We offer both before-school care (VSO) and after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12. Our pedagogical staff believe that childcare should be free time where children can choose what they want to do. We offer a fun, varied program of activities, with children actively contributing their own ideas. In our spacious hall there is plenty of play space where children can find each other. They can quietly read a book or magazine here, but also run and move around freely. We find it important that every child is heard and has their own place in the group. Our pedagogical staff listen to the stories children want to share and provide all the space to discuss the experiences of the school day with us. For sports and games and creative activities, we use the expertise of professionals. Children can use their own group room with a cozy lounge area, a home corner, a woodworking corner and a large family table where they can eat, craft or play games together. Additionally, children are also allowed to use the media library and the large playroom in the building. We work closely with primary school Het Kompas, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care.
