Eigen&Wijzer Kompas Buitenweg

BSO Het Kompas, location Buitenweg, is an inspiring after-school care facility for children aged 4 to 12. We are located on the same premises as primary school Het Kompas at Buitenweg 308 in Maarssen. After school hours, during holidays and on study days we welcome up to 44 children in a homely, small-scale space where every child is seen. Our programme centres on child participation, talent development and, above all, fun. We offer a wide range of workshops: sports & games, culture, music, creative activities, nature, technology and science. There is also plenty of room for free play; children can quietly read a book, draw, paint, build or simply enjoy a game of football outside. We actively involve the children in shaping the after-school programme. Taking their wishes and ideas seriously boosts their self-confidence, teaches them to listen to one another and to stand up for themselves. During school holidays we organise the famous VakantieZotheid programme: a week packed with adventurous activities and fun outings in and around Maarssen. On study days children are also welcome for a varied programme of indoor and outdoor activities. We provide care on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday directly at the Buitenweg location; on the remaining days children can attend one of our other locations in Maarssen. This way care always stays close and familiar. Our team of pedagogical staff is ready every afternoon to offer a safe, challenging and enjoyable time. We look at what your child needs and tailor our activities accordingly. At BSO Het Kompas Buitenweg your child is at the centre and discovers the world around them through play.
