BSO KinderCampus

Welcome to BSO KinderCampus, located at Peter Planciusplein 10 in Hilversum. We are part of Stichting Alberdingk Thijm Kinderopvang and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our building stands right next to C. Hummelingschool, so we can collect the children immediately after class and offer them a safe, familiar place to unwind. The afternoon starts with free play. Around 4 p.m. we share a healthy snack and drink together; afterwards the children decide whether to join the activity on offer or keep playing. All activities are linked to the current theme and range from sports and games, arts and crafts, cooking, to exciting nature and science experiments. Our 1000 m² outdoor area features play equipment, a football cage and vegetable gardens, giving children plenty of space to move and explore nature. During school holidays we regularly organise outings to the forest, playground, zoo, cinema or indoor play paradise. When we stay on site we run workshops or activities, sometimes with external providers. Our permanent, experienced pedagogical staff are on hand every day to give the children a safe, challenging and above all enjoyable time. Parents can choose from flexible care options: fixed after-school and holiday days, occasional after-school care or occasional holiday care. Before-school care (VSO) is also available. Healthy food is a given: fresh vegetables, fruit, nuts and plenty to drink are always provided.
