BSO Kindcentrum De Gouden Griffel

BSO Kindcentrum De Gouden Griffel is part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) De Gouden Griffel in Berkel en Rodenrijs. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 who attend our own primary school. Our BSO is fully run in-house and operates under one pedagogical framework, seamlessly integrating education, upbringing, development, care and relaxation. We offer before-school care from 07:30 until school starts, with calm activities and the option to have breakfast. During lunch care children eat their packed lunch together with their teacher, after which they can choose from activities guided by pedagogical staff, volunteers and interns. After-school care begins right after classes and is available until 18:30. Younger children are collected from their classroom; older children make their own way to the BSO space. There are two set moments for food and drinks, including healthy snacks such as fruit or crackers. During holidays, free days and teacher-training days we provide holiday care from 07:30 to 18:30. For every holiday period we create a themed activity programme with outings and creative projects. Lunch is provided on these days. Our premises include a homely BSO zone, an indoor gym, outdoor areas and a vegetable garden. Children use these facilities every day. Our multidisciplinary team offers children a safe, pleasant, inspiring and stimulating environment. Together with parents and the school we support the broad development of every child.
