BSO Jungkidz

Welcome to BSO Jungkidz, our small-scale after-school care located at Panoven 60 in IJsselstein. We provide a safe and familiar environment for 40 children aged 4 to 12 years, divided into three groups. Our unique concept combines personal involvement with stimulating each child's creativity. Children can choose from various activities at our facility. Our theater group 'de Showkidz' works towards a real theater production on a professional stage every block. Additionally, we have an activities group where children can plan their own program together with our staff. We believe this approach helps children discover and develop their talents. Our pedagogical policy is inspired by progressive educators such as Janusz Korczak, Emmi Pickler, and Aletha Solter. We stand for involvement and safety, taking into account each child's age and interests. As part of Kinderopvang Purkie VOF, we were established from parents' wishes to have after-school care in addition to daycare. Since April 2011, we've been located in the building adjacent to childcare Purkie. We offer different types of care: 30 places at the activities BSO, divided into a group for children aged 4 to approximately 6 years and a 6+ group. Additionally, there are 10 places at our theater BSO. This way, we can give each child the attention they deserve in a homely and cozy environment.
