BSO Jij en ik

BSO Jij en ik is a small-scale after-school care facility located in the heart of Munnekezijl at Zijlstraat 2. Since our opening on August 25, 2022, we provide care for up to 10 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our team consists of two dedicated pedagogical staff members: Talitha Patje, owner and specialized pedagogical employee, and Nancy Patje, pedagogical employee. Together we create a warm and safe environment where children feel at home. At BSO Jij en ik, we focus on developing 21st-century skills. We encourage children to collaborate, find solutions, and think critically and creatively. Each afternoon starts with a personal welcome: the pedagogical staff ask with genuine interest how the child is doing. After washing hands, children can enjoy a cookie with a drink. We work with a clear pedagogical policy tailored to the needs of school-age children. Our small group size allows us to provide individual attention and offer activities that match each child's interests. The parent committee is actively involved in our development and organization of activities. BSO Jij en ik is officially registered in the National Childcare Register and is under the supervision of the GGD. We provide care on weekdays after school hours, utilizing our bright and spacious location in the center of Munnekezijl.
