BSO IKC De Akker

Welcome to BSO IKC De Akker, located at Engelgaarde 31 in Meppel. We are part of Kindcentrum De Akker, an open Christian Integral Child Centre offering before- and after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO is housed in the same building as primary school CBS De Akker and works closely with the school, allowing children to walk straight into our familiar care setting once classes finish. We provide care before and after school hours, on study days, during school holidays and other free days. Children from both the regular stream and the Kwadraat (gifted education) stream are welcome. Our large green outdoor area invites active play and movement, while indoors children can choose from a wide range of activities such as arts & crafts, cooking, sports and games, or simply enjoy free play. We consciously nurture each child’s talents and give every child space to develop at their own level. Communication with parents runs smoothly through the parent app Parro, where we share photos, reports and important notices per group so you always know what your child has been up to. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. – 6:15 p.m.; care from 7:00 a.m. is available on request. During holidays and study days care may, if necessary, be provided at another PlusKinderopvang location; you will always be informed in good time.
