BSO Het Woelige Nest

Welcome to BSO Het Woelige Nest, our small-scale and homely after-school care centre located at Brandsweg 1a in Hulshorst. As of April 8, 2025, we welcome up to 22 children aged 4 to 12. We provide care during school weeks and holidays, offering children a warm and safe place to play, discover and relax after a day at school. Our location is set in a quiet, rural area surrounded by nature. We have our own children’s farm and vegetable garden where children learn about animals, plants and sustainability. These outdoor spaces are a key part of our programme: children can help care for the animals, grow vegetables and play in nature. We also regularly organise “Bring-a-Friend Days”, when children can bring a friend to spend the afternoon with us. This encourages social skills and strengthens friendships. We collect children from primary schools in Harderwijk, Hierden, Hulshorst and Nunspeet. Our pedagogical staff provide a familiar and structured environment where every child can be themselves. We work in small groups with familiar faces, ensuring plenty of personal attention. Our approach is playful, nature-oriented and focused on independence and cooperation. BSO Het Woelige Nest is registered in the National Childcare Register under number 109701458 and is supervised by the GGD Noord- en Oost-Gelderland. We meet all legal quality requirements and strive to be a second home for every child.
