BSO Het Vossenhol

BSO Het Vossenhol has been part of Kdv De Vossebelt B.V. since 1 June 2013 and is located on a dairy farm at Schreursweg 3 in Holten. Our after-school care consists of two horizontal groups: BSO Het Vossenhol for children aged 4 to 6.5 and BSO De Speelschuur for children aged 6.5 to 12. Together we provide 50 registered after-school places. Our qualified pedagogical staff pick the children up from school themselves so they always see a familiar face. After school we head straight outside for fresh air and play. Around 3 p.m. we enjoy fruit, tea or squash and a cracker—a calm moment to share the stories of the day. Each week we offer prepared activities: music and dance, creative crafts, cooking and baking, sports and games, and gardening in our own vegetable patch. Children choose which activity they want to join. There is also plenty of room for free play in our 750 m² garden with a climbing hill, football goals, exploration garden, outdoor kitchen and sand/water facilities. The children may also help care for the farm animals or collect eggs from the chicken coop. Inside, different corners have been set up: large spaces for playing together and small spots for quiet time. Our approach is based on respect—between children, between child and carer, and of the child for themselves. We provide a warm, safe and challenging environment where every child can be themselves and discover their own talents.
