BSO Het Palet

BSO Het Palet is part of Kindcentrum Het Palet located at Froukemaheerd 1 in Groningen. We provide after-school care for up to 40 children aged 4 to 12 years, with separate spaces for younger and older children that match their developmental needs. Our BSO is located in the same building as the primary school, allowing children to stay in a familiar and safe environment without having to travel through traffic. We work from a positive approach, believing that children develop better and gain more self-confidence this way. We look at each child's talents, monitor their development, and offer activities tailored to age and interests. Our activities range from sports and games to creative expressions such as crafting and building. We have a cozy group room with different corners: a construction corner, a shop/home corner, a creative corner, and a quiet corner with a couch for reading. Every day we go outside with the children. On our playground, children can play on the swing, in the sandbox, with bikes and carts. There is plenty of space for sports and play activities. We work with fixed groups and fixed pedagogical staff, with 1 professional present per 12 or 13 children. We approach each child with attention and ensure that every child feels at home in a safe and stimulating environment. Our opening hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:45 to 18:30, Wednesday from 12:30 to 18:30 and Friday from 12:00 to 14:45 (subject to sufficient registrations). During school holidays we provide care from 08:30 to 18:30. We offer various contract forms, including 40 weeks, 52 weeks and flexible options.
