BSO Het Honk

BSO ’t Honk is our welcoming after-school care facility in De Cocksdorp, located at OBS Durperhonk primary school on Klimpstraat 27. We provide care for up to 20 children aged 4 to 12 years. After a busy school day, children can relax and enjoy time with peers in a familiar environment. We pick up children directly from OBS Durperhonk after school, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care for parents. Our space is located on the school grounds, providing a familiar and safe environment for the children. At BSO ’t Honk, fun and relaxation are our priorities. Children can choose what they feel like doing. We offer a wide range of activities: playing football, baking cookies, building huts, or taking trips to the playground. Our staff are full of creative ideas, and children are also welcome to suggest their own activities. There's always something fun to do that suits your child. After a long school day, it's wonderful to go outside. We have plenty of space to run, climb, and chat. Fresh air, wind in your hair, and forgetting for a moment that things like language and math exist. It immediately gives energy to discover new things. For children who prefer quiet activities, there are plenty of opportunities too. Reading a book, getting creative with finger paint, or just chilling in a quiet corner - everything is allowed. Such quiet moments are also nice to share the day's stories with a staff member or friend. BSO ’t Honk is part of Kinderopvang Texel, a professional organization with short communication lines and good collaboration. Our pedagogical staff are experts in their field and continuously invest in training and development.
