BSO Het Honk

BSO Het Honk is located inside primary school De Waerdenburght in the heart of Waardenburg. We provide a safe, homely place for up to 10 children aged 4 to 12. Our qualified staff pick the children up after school and drop them off in the morning within Renswoude. Before-school care starts at 7:30 am; after-school care starts at 12:00 pm or around 2:30/3:00 pm, depending on the school timetable. We work in one mixed-age group, allowing children of different ages to play and learn together. The space is divided into play corners: an arts-and-crafts corner, a kitchen corner, a reading and quiet corner, a car corner and a dolls’ corner. There is also plenty of room for sports and games in the gym and on the playground. Each week we organise varied activities such as crafting, outdoor play and board games. During school holidays we offer holiday care; parents can book single days or a holiday package. Our vision is simple: every child is free to be themselves. We offer calm, structure and challenge. Parents can read our pedagogical plan on the website and receive newsletters by e-mail. Registration is done through an online form; afterwards we contact you for an introductory meeting and a definitive start date.
