BSO het Atelier

BSO het Atelier is located inside the CBS Eben-Haëzer primary-school building at Lorentzweg 60, Lekkerkerk. As part of Royal Kids Home Krimpenerwaard we provide after-school care for up to 28 children aged 4 to 12. Our aim is to offer a familiar, safe and stimulating place where children can relax, play and develop after their school day. We use a dedicated classroom within the school. The space is arranged into different corners that invite independent play: a home corner for role-play, a quiet reading corner with books, a car-and-train corner, and plenty of table space for crafts and games. In addition, children have access to the school gym and the large outdoor playground for sports and active games. Our qualified pedagogical staff follow the Royal Kids Home educational framework. Our daily programme is built around the themes ‘feeling good and having fun’, ‘growing and discovering’, ‘a rich environment’ and ‘together’. We offer a varied range of activities such as crafts, games, outdoor play and small local excursions. During school holidays the BSO is open Monday to Friday from 7.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. and we organise extra activities and trips. Parents drop off and collect their children themselves. Hand-over always takes place with the staff member on duty so that parents receive immediate feedback about the day.
