BSO Henricus Hoeve

Welcome to the after-school care of Henricus Hoeve, located on our organic farm at Mosterdwal 10b in Beneden-Leeuwen. Our BSO and VSO provide school-age children aged 4 to 13 with a warm place where peace, nature and play come together. After or before a busy school day, children have the space to relax in an environment that meets their natural need for movement, freedom and creativity. Our care is small-scale and homely. Children have the freedom to make their own choices: playing inside or outside, caring for animals or crafting. We work with themes, but mainly follow the interests and energy of the children themselves. On the farm, children learn playfully about animals, seasons and nature. They can help feed the chickens, collect eggs or harvest vegetables from the garden. In this way, they naturally develop skills such as responsibility, cooperation and care for their environment. There is room for emotions. Tired from school? Then there is time to catch your breath. Full of energy? Then there is space to run, build or fantasize in the grass. Anything is possible, nothing is required. The BSO and VSO are located on an organic farm with dairy cows, chickens, goats, a pony and rabbits. There is a spacious outdoor playground where children play with wood, sand, stones and water, challenging every age group. The farm also houses a day care facility for the elderly, offering a unique opportunity for interaction between young and old in a safe and homely environment. After school, the children receive a warm meal soup, freshly prepared and tailored to the season. During school holidays and study days, we provide a fully catered meal, including fruit, drinks and snacks. When composing the meals, we take allergies, dietary requirements and religious beliefs into account.
