BSO Wonderwijs

Welcome to BSO Goede Herder, located at Kastanjeplein 6 in Rotterdam. Since September 1st 2024, we provide small-scale after-school care for up to 15 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our BSO is part of Kindcentrum Goede Herder, which operates under Stichting Opwijs Opvang. At BSO Goede Herder, our mission is to help children discover their wings so they can spread them. We recognize every child's need for both safety and challenge, security and space. Our pedagogical staff create a homely atmosphere where children can be themselves and develop their talents. After school, children can come to us directly. We use the spacious schoolyard of Goede Herder primary school, where children can play outside and release their energy. Upon arrival, there's always time and attention for each child. We have a chat about what's on their mind and play together. Then there's a shared moment for food and drinks to recharge for the rest of the afternoon. Our activity program is varied and challenging. We offer creative crafting activities where children can let their imagination run free. Additionally, we encourage sports activities and games, both indoors and outdoors. Each child can choose whether they want to participate in an activity - after all, BSO is free time. We work with fixed pedagogical staff who know the children well and understand their needs. We value collaboration with parents highly: through good relationships, children feel safe and are stimulated to develop. You're always welcome to come and take a look!
