BSO Eigenwijs

BSO Eigenwijs is located at Lavendelveld 19 in Doetinchem and is part of Stichting Humankind. For over 20 years we have offered a trusted place where children aged 4 to 12 can relax, play and discover after school. Our location is situated in the heart of the neighbourhood, on the edge of a park and close to several primary schools, so most children can reach us quickly and safely. We work from the Humankind vision: challenging children, stimulating their independence and giving them space to discover their talents. With us, a lot is allowed, naturally within clear safety boundaries. We believe that children who are allowed to experience, decide and make mistakes themselves, flourish best. The large, bright spaces of BSO Eigenwijs literally provide room to move, play or just sit quietly. The layout is flexible, allowing us to respond daily to the wishes and needs of the group. Sports and exercise are central to our programme. Children can burn off energy in our sports and games corner, in the garden or during organised sports activities. We offer plenty of quiet moments, but also the opportunity to be active. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with attention and expertise, so that every child feels safe and valued. BSO Eigenwijs is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 212577852 and has room for up to 32 children. We provide before-school care from 7:00 am and after-school care until 6:30 pm, also during study days and school holidays. Parents can count on a reliable partner who thinks along about their child's development and is open to personal contact.
