BSO Egbertus

BSO Egbertus is a small-scale after-school care centre located right in the historic heart of Vianen at Achterstraat 30. We provide care for up to 32 children from primary school Egbertus. Children in years 1-2 are handed over to us by their teacher; from year 3 onwards they walk to the BSO independently. Inside we use the school’s facilities: a large wooden doll’s house, play kitchen, toy car track, games table and a big ‘chill sofa’ invite children to play and relax. Children who prefer quiet time can read a book or watch a film. Outside we have two playgrounds of our own. Younger children enjoy a traffic square, a covered and lockable sandpit, a climbing frame with slide, a bird-nest swing and a rope course. Bikes, carts and other outdoor toys are stored in the shed. Older children have fun with the table-tennis table, football cage and double-trapeze rig. Our activity programme is wide-ranging: arts & culture, sport, adventure and DigiKids. Activities include jigsaw making, toddler gym or ‘just dance’ on the Wii. We regularly set out different materials so children can create something of their own and use their imagination. Dichtbij Kinderopvang, together with qualified pedagogical staff, offers a safe and welcoming place where every child can develop. We are here for the children and for the parents.
