BSO Eekhoorn is located inside the Montessori school ‘Wij de Wereld’ at Eekhoorn 10 in Deventer. As part of childcare organisation De Company, we provide before-school, after-school and holiday care for children from all primary school grades. Our location is registered in the National Childcare Register under number 262187486 and has a capacity of 44 children. We create a homely atmosphere where children feel at ease. Our pedagogical staff offer an active, inspiring and engaged programme. There is plenty of play, drawing and construction material available so children can relax and explore new things after school. We offer both regular and flexible childcare tailored to parents’ work schedules. Care starts at the end of the school day (12:00, 14:00, 14:30 or 15:00, depending on the school) and continues until 19:00. During holidays we are open from 07:00 to 19:00. On request, children can join us for a hot meal. We follow De Company’s pedagogical policy plan, which is evaluated annually and updated when necessary. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) carries out an annual inspection; the most recent report (2024) is available for parents to read. Together with the school we ensure a seamless transition from school time to care time, so children can stay in a familiar environment throughout the day.
