BSO 'De Zonnestraal'

Welcome to BSO De Zonnestraal, a small-scale private after-school care facility in the heart of Voerendaal. We are located on the ground floor of a characteristic townhouse at Kerkstraat 21. Our location accommodates up to 11 children in one vertical group, allowing siblings to be together and children of different ages to interact. Our spacious, homely facility consists of two large rooms fully tailored to the needs of children aged 4 to 13. In the central area stands a large table where we eat and drink together, share school stories, and where on Wednesdays and Fridays and during holidays we enjoy our warm lunch. Later in the day we serve a cookie or treat with something to drink. This table is also where we craft, draw or play games together. Children can explore various play corners: a shop for role-playing, a house to feel at home, a kitchen for little chefs and a relaxation corner to unwind. We offer an extensive range of play materials including board games, LEGO and Barbie items, ensuring no child will be bored. BSO De Zonnestraal works with a fixed pedagogical supervisor who is there for the children every day. In addition to regular after-school care, we also offer before-school care (VSO) from 07:30 to 08:30 on all weekdays. During school holidays and study days we are open from 08:00 to 18:00, except on national holidays, the first two weeks of summer holidays from primary school Bergop and one week during Christmas holidays.
