BSO de Zoete Bijtjes

BSO de Zoete Bijtjes is a small-scale after-school care centre located at Walt Disneyplantsoen 92 in the heart of Almere-Stad. We welcome up to 11 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our approach centres on ‘learning through play’: children are given space to be themselves, make their own choices and cooperate with others. Our caring, qualified staff guide every child in personal development, encouraging social skills, independence and plenty of physical activity. Our spacious garden borders the building and is the beating heart of our BSO. Here children climb, run and explore every day; we also make regular use of the adjacent playing field. Inside, a cosy activity corner awaits for crafts, cooking or baking and seasonal projects. Fresh fruit and drinks are always available so everyone can recharge after school. Safety and trust are the foundation of our care. We follow a clear pedagogical policy laid down in our current policy plan. Parents experience us as a warm second home where their child enjoys going.
