Prokino Wantij BSO

Prokino BSO Wantij is located inside the Wantij primary school at Maasstraat 202 in Dordrecht. We provide after-school care for up to 32 children aged 4 to 12. Our guiding principle is to see children as our source of inspiration. We give them the freedom to explore the world in their own way and at their own pace. Alongside a professional pedagogical climate, warm, loving and committed care is central. Children with a disability or chronic illness are also very welcome. We work with the BSO activity programme ‘DOEN!’ developed by Prokino. Through varied themes children learn new things in a playful manner. These activities are fully integrated into the daily programme for the whole group. After school, children can take part in creative, sporting and relaxing activities that match their interests and stage of development. Our BSO offers both before- and after-school care. Before-school care is available from 7:00 a.m. until the start of school. Children can play quietly, read a book or have a chat. Our pedagogical staff then take the children safely to school. After-school care starts right after school: on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. We are open almost all year round during school holidays and study days; only on official public holidays are we closed. Prokino BSO Wantij is small-scale and clearly arranged. Our professional and enthusiastic staff are ready every day to give your child a safe, challenging and enjoyable time. We attach great importance to personal attention and a familiar environment. Therefore we work closely with parents and the Wantij school to tailor the care optimally to the needs of each child.
