BSO De VeldRakkers

Welcome to BSO De VeldRakkers, our cheerful after-school care located at Maire de Gierstraat 2 in Kerkdriel. We are part of ’t Veldmuisje childcare and offer children aged 4 to 12 a second home where fun, development and relaxation are key. After a busy school day children can unwind and be challenged to grow through play. We work from the themes Creativity, Culture, Nature, Sports and Theatre. One afternoon we craft enthusiastically, another we bake together or explore nature. Our pedagogical professionals are ready with a smile, a listening ear and a wealth of ideas. They know every child and tailor activities to each child’s needs. Our location has a spacious garden where children can run, play football or simply enjoy outdoor play. We believe it is important that children can choose: reading alone is fine, joining a sports game is fine, cooking together is fine – anything goes. During school holidays we are open from 07:00 to 18:00 and organise extra challenging activities. Parents regularly receive photos via our app, so they can get a glimpse of their child’s day. We work together with primary schools in the immediate vicinity; children are collected on foot or safely transported to the BSO with our bicycle buses. This way relaxation starts right after the last school bell. At BSO De VeldRakkers every child feels seen, valued and challenged to bring out the best in themselves.
