BSO de toendra

BSO de toendra is a modern after-school care facility operated by Royal Kids Home Capelle en Krimpen aan den IJssel B.V., located at Koggerwaard 1 in Capelle aan den IJssel. Since 21 August 2019 we have provided care for up to 56 children aged 4 to 13 years. Our LRK registration number is 212912628 and we meet all statutory quality requirements set by the GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond. As part of Royal Kids Home – an organisation with 15 locations in Capelle aan den IJssel, Krimpen aan den IJssel and the Krimpenerwaard – BSO de toendra stands for a homely atmosphere in which every child feels safe and at home. We believe that children develop best when they enjoy coming to the facility. Therefore we invest heavily in building trusting relationships and providing emotional security. Parents are actively involved in the settling-in process so that the childcare centre becomes a familiar place for the whole family. Our pedagogical staff guide children with homework, help them discover new interests and encourage play with peers. The rooms are designed for both learning and relaxation, with quiet corners, creative areas and space for physical activity. We organise activities that match the children’s world of experience and encourage them to make their own choices. During study days and school holidays we provide a varied programme so that children never get bored. BSO de toendra works closely with primary school De Horizon, which is located at the same address. This enables us to collect children safely and directly after school.
