BSO De Speelzolder

BSO De Speelzolder is located inside Christian Primary School Eben Haezer at Kweekschoolstraat 2 in Dokkum. This small-scale after-school care facility accommodates a maximum of 16 children aged 4 to 12 years. Thanks to the limited size, we are able to respond intensively to the individual needs of each child, creating a homely and familiar atmosphere. Our location is literally situated on the school's play attic, so children do not have to travel far after school and can immediately play, relax and develop in a familiar environment. The space is playfully and safely arranged with corners for crafts, games, building and quiet reading. We work closely with the teachers of CBS Eben Haezer, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care and keeping us well informed about what the children have experienced during the day. At BSO De Speelzolder we believe it is important that children feel free to make their own choices. We provide ample space for both relaxation and challenge. After an intensive school day, children can retreat here, but also participate in joint activities when they feel like it. Our pedagogical staff are ready with personal attention and guide the children where necessary. Because of our small scale, we know all children and parents well. We value open communication with parents and are happy to discuss the children's development. At BSO De Speelzolder, fun, safety and personal attention are central.
