BSO De scharrelkids

Welcome to BSO De scharrelkids at Hogeweg 49 in Kamperveen. We are a small-scale, farm-based after-school care facility with a Christian foundation. Located in De Veenhof, a church building about ten minutes from Kampen, we provide care for up to 22 children in one horizontal group. A familiar pedagogical staff member is always present to ensure your child feels secure. Nature is at the heart of De scharrelkids. Our rural setting offers plenty of space for outdoor play and discovery. After school, children can burn off energy on the playground, play football, jump rope or draw with sidewalk chalk. We regularly take walks to meet the animals on our grounds—such as sheep, goats, horses and calves—where children help feed them and learn respect for animals and the environment. Occasional excursions include trips to the forest or walks along the bypass. We believe children should choose their own activity after a busy school day. Our staff offer a variety of options—from crafts and reading aloud to games that encourage social interaction—but if a child prefers to relax or play freely, that is perfectly fine. This approach gives every child space to unwind and develop in their own way. BSO De scharrelkids is open Monday to Friday for before-school care at our day-care site (Leidijk 15) and after-school care at Hogeweg 49. During school holidays, children are welcome all day Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; Wednesday is closed. We offer 40- or 51-week contracts with a minimum of 3.5 hours per day.
