BSO de Regenboog

BSO de Regenboog is a professional after-school care centre for children aged 4 to 12, located at Wilgenhoflaan 2C in Beverwijk. We provide a safe, homely and challenging environment where children can be themselves and develop to their full potential. Learning through play is central: play offers opportunities to make friends, discover the world, learn rules, fantasise and, above all, have fun. Our pedagogical staff play an active role. They offer interesting play activities, help children get started, challenge them and take part in the play themselves. We approach every child with encouragement and warmth, take feelings seriously and show every child that they are valued. Respect for autonomy means that children can choose for themselves: after a long school day, there is no obligation to do anything. BSO de Regenboog is housed inside the Wijk aan Duin Community Centre. We are open five days a week, including before- and after-school care (VSO and BSO). We can only accommodate children who attend De Wilgeroos; we do not pick up or drop off children at other schools. There is space for a maximum of 22 children.
