BSO De Pepermolen de Bijenkorf

BSO De Pepermolen, location De Bijenkorf is located in the village house De Bijenkorf at Mulderstraat 37 in Oosterend on Texel. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. After a busy school day, children can relax and enjoy 'hanging out', reading or playing in a cozy environment. We believe it's important that children feel at home. That's why they get to help decide which activities we'll do each day. At De Pepermolen, children's opinions matter. Being able to voice your opinion, say what you like or what you're struggling with; this builds self-esteem. We give children space to develop themselves. They get responsibility and are allowed to think along. Sometimes there are clashes; but that's okay. You discover that not everyone has the same opinion. We love letting children experience that it's actually very educational that everyone has their own character and interests. Our BSO is accessible to all primary school children on Texel. The pedagogical staff pick up children from school using one of our cars. The group room borders a great playground that we use throughout the day. We are open during school weeks and school holidays, from Monday to Friday.
