BSO De Molenwerf dependance

Welcome to BSO De Molenwerf dependance, our second after-school care location at Molenwerfslaan 11 in the heart of Heemstede. We are part of Kindcentrum De Molenwerf and provide care for up to 36 children aged 4 to 12. Every day, children from the Kindcentrum itself, Voorwegschool and Nicolaas Beetsschool come to play with us. Our Jupiter group is specially designed for the oldest children. We ensure that all materials and activities perfectly match their age and developmental stage. The children are given increasing responsibility and are allowed to organize activities themselves. This way they learn leadership skills and gain the confidence they need. We work with age-specific groups, ensuring children receive exactly what they need at that moment. The atmosphere is homely and safe, allowing children to relax after a busy school day. We offer a wide variety of activities: sports, theater and art workshops where children can discover where their talents lie. Our location is situated in a characteristic old building with high windows and large, bright spaces. Children play on the large square of Kindcentrum De Molenwerf under the old trees. We regularly make trips to the play forest, Children's Farm 't Molentje and the local bakery. This way children get to know their own environment and we contribute to the Heemstede community. During holidays, we have extra activities on the program. With themes such as Nature, Health or Time Machine, we organize something special every day. Think of art lessons from a real artist or baking bread at the bakery. We also go out to museums, scouting or do polder sports. The holidays are a real celebration for the children and our team!
