BSO De Leeuwerik

BSO De Leeuwerik is located on the same grounds as primary school De Leeuwerik at Boschweg 70 in Einighausen. We work closely with the school and with Stichting MIK & Spelenderwijs Kindontwikkeling, the organisation that provides our after-school care. This allows children to move straight from their classroom to a safe and familiar after-school setting. The location welcomes up to 44 children aged 4 to 12. We have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) under number 189512982 since 1 January 2010 and are supervised by the GGD Zuid-Limburg. On regular school days we are open from the end of lessons until 18:00; during school holidays and study days we receive children from 7:30 to 18:00. Because the after-school rooms and spacious outdoor area are directly adjacent to the school playground, children never have to leave the secure site. Entry is only possible through a protected entrance. We also make use of the on-site gym and the community centre ’t Klaverblad, where local associations offer after-school music lessons and sports activities. Our qualified staff tailor the programme to the world of primary-school children: there is time to relax, get homework support, take part in creative projects and enjoy sports and games. Our pedagogical approach aligns with that of De Leeuwerik primary school, giving parents the comfort of one consistent environment for their child.
