BSO De Koepelschool

BSO De Koepelschool is part of Christelijk Kindcentrum De Koepel and is located at the primary site on Anton Mauvestraat 10A in Ede. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 who attend De Koepel primary school or another nearby school. Our BSO is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 14:30 to 18:00 during school weeks. During school holidays we welcome children on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 08:00 to 18:00. After school our qualified pedagogical staff pick the children up. For pupils at our upper-school site on Nieuwe Maanderbuurtweg transport is arranged to the after-school care on Anton Mauvestraat. First the children have a moment to eat and drink, then they are free to choose what they want to do. Every afternoon we offer an activity such as crafts, a game or baking something tasty. Children are free to join in or choose something else. We make use of our spacious indoor areas and the playground where children can play football, cycle and play outside. Every four weeks we work around a different theme. The children are invited to help decide on the theme and the activities we organise. In this way they learn new things and develop their talents in a playful manner. Our Christian identity is visible in the way we interact with each other and in the themes we choose. We believe it is important that every child feels safe and welcome with us. For parents we hold an intake interview before a child starts. When you pick up your child we are happy to tell you how the afternoon went. Each child is assigned a mentor who is the point of contact for parents. On De Koepel’s teacher-training days we can provide extra care, provided at least five children attend.
