BSO De Klimboom

Welcome to BSO De Klimboom! We are located in Basisschool De Bongerd in Haps and provide small-scale, flexible after-school care. Our team, led by Monique den Brok and Renate Selten, is ready to give children aged 4 to 13 a wonderful afternoon. We believe that after-school care time is free time. That's why we work with DoenKids, where children can choose what they want to do after school. One child might want to play sports outside, while another prefers quiet crafting or reading a book. We offer a wide range of activities: from scavenger hunts and holiday-themed activities around celebrations like Sinterklaas and Christmas, to baking and cooking and fun movement activities. Our location accommodates up to 44 children and is open 52 weeks a year, including during school holidays. During vacations, we have a special program and combine our location with that of the Kastanjelaar in Milheeze. This gives children more peers to play with and allows us to provide an even more challenging activity program. In addition to our regular care, we offer extra services such as homework guidance and a dinner service. We work with block care and have extended opening hours: from 1:00 PM to 5:15/6:30 PM, with extended care from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM. We are open 5 days a week. Within our after-school care, we maintain clear rules and structure, just like at school. Children experience this clarity as pleasant and feel safe and secure.
