BSO De Kiefthoek

BSO De Kiefthoek is located right next to the football pitches of VV Bergen at Groeneweg 5 in Bergen, North Holland. We are a partnership between Forte Kinderopvang and VV Bergen, offering active after-school care for children aged 7 and older since 2 September 2024. Our location has a maximum capacity of 30 places and is housed in the clubhouse and on the sports grounds of the club. Children have all the space they need to move: one of the pitches is reserved exclusively for us for sports and games. Besides football, we offer a rich programme of workshops and activities tailored to the age and interests of the children, such as creative clinics, team games and challenging sports and play programmes. We provide before-school care, after-school care with or without holiday cover, and full holiday care. During school holidays we run a varied programme with outings and cool workshops so that children really feel they are on holiday. We pick children up after school by car, bicycle or on foot and provide a hot meal for a small fee. Through the Forte Parent Portal and the Forte app we keep parents informed 24/7 about what their child is doing with us and make it easy to report absences. We work closely with the primary schools in the area to create a continuous line of development between school, childcare and home. Children have a voice with us: they are involved in thinking about themes, activities and outings. In this way they discover their talents and learn to get the best out of themselves.
