BSO de Kanjers

BSO de Kanjers is located in primary school De Schakel at Weth. de Langelaan 1 in Leersum. We provide after-school care for all children from 4 years old attending any primary school in Leersum. Our groups are spacious and designed with age-appropriate challenges. We use several dedicated rooms inside the school and the gymnasium, making BSO de Kanjers a familiar place for many children. After school, our pedagogical staff pick up the children. The afternoon starts with a quiet moment where children have something to eat and drink, and we pay attention to what is on their minds. Then they engage in various challenging indoor and outdoor activities that match their world of experience and developmental stage. There is also plenty of room for free play and rest when a child needs it. Sports, nature and music are central to our programme. We are often found on the outdoor playground and in the immediate surroundings of Leersum. During school holidays we offer a varied activity programme including play & sports, creative, expressive and nature experience activities. Children choose which activities they want to join and there is always room for their own initiatives and free play. Our pedagogical work plan translates our vision and core values into daily practice. We aim for a nice balance of security and challenge in a cosy environment where every child feels welcome.
