BSO de Kabouterhut/de Heksenketel is located at the same premises as child centre De Kabouterhut, Kloosterstraat 42 in Sluis. We are an after-school care facility for children aged 4 to 13. The age range within our group is intentionally broad, allowing children from different school years to play, learn and inspire one another together. Our pedagogical staff tailor activities to this wide age span so that every child feels both challenged and secure. Our opening hours fit seamlessly around the primary-school timetable. On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday we are open from 7.30 to 8.45 a.m. and from 3.15 to 6.00 p.m. On Wednesday and Friday we welcome children from 7.30 to 8.45 a.m. and from 12.00 to 6.00 p.m. For parents whose working hours start earlier or finish later, we offer extended opening times: 6.30–7.30 a.m. and 6.00–6.30 p.m. Shorter sessions can also be arranged. We remain open during school holidays so that children can spend their free days in a familiar environment. We are closed only on official public holidays. Our senior pedagogical staff member Kim Heijboer and manager team & development Vera Bakker are always ready to speak with parents and children personally and to help find the most suitable care solution.
