BSO De Helden

Welcome to BSO de Helden in Langbroek! We are a small-scale after-school care center located at Prinsenplein 1, in the heart of Langbroek. Our BSO is housed within Basisschool Piet de Springer, using the school’s hall and kindergarten classroom — a familiar and trusted environment for many children. We provide care for up to 32 children aged 4 to 12, all within a single group. This setup ensures a calm, structured setting with plenty of personal attention. Our pedagogical staff pick up children from local primary schools after class. The afternoon begins with a quiet moment: we enjoy fruit and drinks together and talk about the day ahead. Then, we dive into a variety of indoor and outdoor activities tailored to the children’s age and interests — from sports and games to creative workshops, music, and nature exploration. We spend a lot of time outdoors: on the school playground, in the neighborhood, and in the natural surroundings of Langbroek. At BSO de Helden, fun and development go hand in hand. We believe every child has superpowers, and we’re here to help them discover and grow those strengths. Our activities are designed to offer positive experiences and allow each child to progress at their own pace. There’s always room for free play and rest, because relaxation is just as important. We remain open during school holidays and offer a varied activity program with themes around sports, creativity, nature, and play. Children can choose which activities they’d like to join. We ensure familiar faces are present and that children can meet peers of the same age. In short: BSO de Helden is a safe, homely place where children can be themselves, explore, and grow. We work from a place of connection, joy, and respect for every child.
