BSO de Heidebloem

BSO de Heidebloem is located right next to primary schools ’t Talent and De Heijcant at Conventstraat 12 in Schijndel. Thanks to this prime location, the transition from school to after-school care is literally just a few steps away. We provide care for up to 50 children aged 4 to 12. When the children arrive, a drink and a piece of fruit are always waiting for them. After that, they are free to choose what they want to do: play a game, read in our quiet corner, or let off steam on the school playground, in the gym or on the multi-sports pitch. Our pedagogical staff organise varied activities every day that connect with the children’s world of experience – think sports and games, creative craft projects and themed activities. Our opening hours dovetail perfectly with school times. On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday we are open from 14:00 until 18:30. On Wednesday we start at 12:00 so that we can also cover the early school finish. During school holidays and study days we offer full-day care, allowing parents to continue their work without worry. BSO de Heidebloem is part of Stichting Kinderopvang De Plu. Within this organisation we work according to a clear pedagogical policy in which room for personal initiative, respect for one another and the joy of learning are central. We believe it is important that every child feels safe and at home with us and has the space to develop at his or her own pace.
