Eigen&Wijzer BSO De Haven

Welcome to BSO De Haven, the after-school care centre in the brand-new Kindcentrum De Haven at Lindelaan 54 in Loosdrecht. Since 1 August 2024 we offer a safe and inspiring place where children aged 4–12 can relax, play and explore after school. De Haven is beautifully situated between the marinas of the Loosdrecht Lakes and Hilversum airfield, a setting we actively use for adventurous outdoor activities. While the new centre is still under construction, we operate from a temporary location next to primary school De Linde. Together with the children we have turned this space into a cosy, challenging BSO area. We share all school facilities and the spacious green playground, allowing us to play, sport and run workshops outside whenever the weather allows. Child participation is at the heart of our approach. Our pedagogical staff involve the children in deciding the activity programme. By learning to listen, plan and make choices, their self-confidence and independence grow. If we cannot provide an activity ourselves, we invite external partners or collaborate with other Eigen&Wijzer after-school clubs in Loosdrecht. Besides the regular programme, there is always room for free play and personal initiatives. During school holidays we run our VakantieZotheid programme: a series of exciting activities and trips that let children discover the world around them. Children from various primary schools in Loosdrecht and the surrounding area come together, make new friends and learn to appreciate differences. At BSO De Haven everyone is welcome and after an adventurous day it is always safe to come home. Eigen&Wijzer is our trusted partner in childcare. We believe in a positive, safe environment where every child can be themselves. Together with parents, school and the community we build a place where fun, development and connection go hand in hand.
