BSO Berenhuis, Berenbikkels, Kindcentrum De Kleine Beer

Welcome to BSO Berenbikkels, Kindcentrum De Kleine Beer, located at Westerbroek 2 in Berlicum. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Berenhuis and have provided small-scale after-school care for up to 20 children aged 4 to 12 since 2015. Our Kindcentrum works closely with Basisschool De Kleine Beer, allowing children to stay in one familiar place for both education and care. At Berenbikkels the day begins calmly with before-school care from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. After school we welcome the children for after-school care until 6:30 p.m. We are open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; on Wednesday and Friday care is provided at our sister location KC De Schatkist. We are also available during all school holidays with a varied programme tailored by our pedagogical staff. Our offer is rich and varied. We organise sports and games, creative workshops in the Berenhuis Art Studio and regular outings. Think of survival courses on a climbing wall, visits to an observatory or sporty clinics at Switch180 Fitnessclub. Animals take centre stage during our Animal Week, during which we visit the Buiten Gewoon Care Farm and organise bird-of-prey shows. Children actively contribute through the children’s council, which meets several times a year with our staff and director. We believe it is important that children feel safe and heard. That is why we involve them in shaping our offer and encourage their own initiative. Together we create a place where fun, relaxation and development go hand in hand.
