BSO De Geelwitjes

Welcome to BSO De Geelwitjes, an after-school care facility that has been active in Haarlem since 2009 and now proudly carries its current name. We are part of Kinderopvang Eleanora and are located at Van Oosten de Bruijnstraat 66, right in the heart of the city. From the start, our aim has been to offer more than a standard after-school care: more activities, more attention, and more fun. Everything we do revolves around safety, security, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We focus specifically on children in primary school years 1 through 4. Our team is larger than legally required, which means every child receives the individual attention they deserve and our staff can work in a relaxed, supportive environment. You will notice this immediately in the calm, organised setting where there is always time for a chat or extra help with homework. What truly sets us apart is the wide variety of activities we offer. We do not want to limit children to one type of play or sport. Therefore, we run a sports-oriented programme where they can burn off energy, as well as a creative studio where they can explore art and crafts. We provide both indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring there is always something exciting to discover. From air hockey and puppet theatre to building towering Kapla structures and engaging in sports and games, playing at De Geelwitjes is always an adventure. In short, we are an after-school care that offers more: more activities, more attention, and more fun for children aged 4 to 12.
