BSO De Flierefluiter, location Schoolstraat is a welcoming after-school care centre in the heart of Hardinxveld-Giessendam. We provide care for up to 36 children aged 4 to 13. Our permanent team of Christian-inspired childcare professionals is ready every weekday to offer children a familiar place after school where they can play, relax and grow at their own pace. We collect children on foot from the primary schools in the immediate vicinity, including the adjacent Rehoboth school. Our spaces are set up like a cosy living room with various play and relaxation corners. In addition, we have a secure outdoor area where children can run around, play sports or quietly read a book every day. Our range of activities is broad and tailored to the interests of the children: from crafts and building to outdoor play and board games. During holidays and study days, we provide an extra extensive programme from 07.30 to 18.30, so that parents can also work with confidence during school-free days. Everything we do revolves around safety, security and fun. We believe that every child is unique and deserves to be themselves. That is why we give room for personal initiative and guide children with attention and respect. Parents experience us as involved, flexible and always available for consultation.
