BSO De 'Dassenburcht' de kinderkeet Lutten is a welcoming after-school care centre located at Middenweg 3 in Lutten, offering a familiar place for up to 22 primary-school children aged 4 to 13. Registered in the national childcare register since 10 January 2022 under number 985952301, we are open Monday to Friday from 6.45 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. Our room is laid out like a large living room with high tables for eating and playing, a cosy reading corner, a construction area and a fully equipped kitchen where children can cook and bake. Movable cupboards create safe play zones for different age groups, helping every child feel at home quickly. We use the adjacent school playground and the sports hall of CBS De Fontein for sports and movement activities, and can switch to our second site on Middenweg when the weather is poor. Dedicated pedagogical staff walk or drive the children to and from school in our own minibus at no extra cost. Our approach is child-centred: nothing is compulsory, everything is possible. Together with the children we design theme weeks – for example on ‘autumn’ or ‘dreams and wishes’ – giving them a real say in the programme. Every day we run studios such as construction, crafts, cooking and science experiments, making after-school time an adventure where fun and development go hand in hand.
