BSO De Buitenkans / Sterrenbos

BSO De Buitenkans / Sterrenbos is located in the kindergarten classroom of Rudolf Steiner Educare at Zustersstraat 25 in Venlo. We provide after-school care every afternoon from 13:15 to 17:45 for up to 24 children aged 4 to 8 years. Our location is part of Stichting Istia, an anthroposophical childcare organisation closely connected to Stichting Pallas and the Rudolf Steiner free school. We are inspired by Rudolf Steiner's educational philosophy and strive for a balanced development of thinking, feeling and willing in every child. Children are welcomed with warmth and attention in a homely, bright space. We work with fixed core groups and dedicated pedagogical staff who meet all CAO standards. There is ample room for free play, artistic activities and nature experience. We offer a stimulating environment where children can discover who they are and what they can do from their own world of experience. For before-school care we are open daily from 7:00 to 8:30 in the same building. During holidays both BSO locations may occasionally be combined, welcoming children aged 4 to 13. Registration is handled by coordinator Hanna Geurts. After a tour and intake interview, parents receive access to our online system KOVnet for scheduling, cancellations and administration.
